Tea Terrain is situated in Pambanar, Idukki District of Kerala. It is in close proximity to Kuttikkanam (11kms), Vagamon (20kms), and Thekkady (30kms).

Estate King Rooms (16 units) The accommodation consists of one bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, a living area, and a large balcony. There is an extra sofa bed available for children up to 10 years old. The living area is also furnished with a small dining table and two chairs, as well as a mini fridge.

Estate Villa (2 Units) for a family of 4 adults. The accommodation includes two bedrooms with queensize beds and en-suite bathrooms, a living room, three balconies. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed, a mini-fridge, and a dining table with two chairs. Both bedrooms have balconies that offer views of the tea plantations.

Pool Villa (4 Units) for a family of 4 adults. The accommodation includes a private pool (17ft length x 10ft width x 5ft depth), two bedrooms with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, a living room, three balconies. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed, a mini-fridge, and a dining table with two chairs. Both bedrooms have balconies that offer views of the tea plantations.

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport, which is 130 kms away. The closest railway station is Kottayam, located 85 kms away. We provide pickup and drop services for our guests.

Apart from Kuttikkanam, Vagamon, and Thekkady, there are several other attractions such as Parunthumpara, Panchalimedu, Ammachi Kottaram, Valanjanganam waterfalls, Madammakulam, Sathram, and Pattumala. We can arrange vehicles and guides for local sightseeing.

The resort is spread over 7 acres of land and offers a range of facilities including a swimming pool, Ayurveda spa, multi-cuisine restaurant, tea house, campfire area, children’s play area, green turf, and a 360° watchtower. We also provide high-speed internet, a banquet hall, yoga studio, mountain bikes, ample parking space, and accommodation with food for drivers.

The restaurant at Tea Terrain Resort offers a variety of culinary options, including Indian and Continental cuisine. Upon request, we can also prepare Jain food. We take pride in sourcing fresh ingredients from the local market, and our fish is directly sourced from the harbor. It is worth noting that we do not use food additives, and all the masalas used in our kitchen are prepared in-house.

The roads leading to the resort are well-maintained. Buses can reach the main gate of the resort, and we have parking available for buses as well.

The weather in Pambanar is generally cool and pleasant throughout the year, with temperatures ranging between 10°C to 25°C. The best time to visit is from September to May when the weather is cool and pleasant. The monsoon season starts in June, and guests can enjoy the rain until August. Pambanar is especially beautiful during the monsoon period.

Tea Terrain Resort does not have a bar facility as they have not obtained permission to run one. However, guests are allowed to bring their own liquor and consume it in their rooms. It is important to note that the consumption of alcohol in public areas is strictly prohibited.
